We loved this show!! It was a ton of fun to see the artists in a reality show competition like this. Granted some of the episodes could have been better, but all in all it was a fun and inspirational show. We’re bummed that our guy lost, but all the final Artists were definitely the strongest of the group and its cool to see that. If you don’t know who Maki is, go learn right now!!! NOW! go go gogogogo!!! He has a hilarious strip all about science and we hope he gets his new strip out there cause we know we would love to see it. You can find his current strip science here and hopefully we’ll get more news about his new Strip “Sufficiently Unremarkable” . Big congrats of course to Katie Rice for winning. She’s a very talented artist whose work you can find not only on Nickelodeon on the various shows she’s worked on but you can also find her current comic here and check into find out about her winning strip here. Watching the show for us has been amazingly inspirational because this is essentially what we would like to have happen with “Chickpeas”. We would love for this to become our fulltime job. If anything a show like this makes us more excited about what were doing and gives us that extra motivation and energy on a late night, to get a strip out there for everyone to enjoy. Big thanks to “Penny Arcade” Link for making the show and we look forward to a possible season 2. *which we would love to try out for btw* 😉
